A photo collection by Ryu Hanabusa featuring top models of the time in France. Born in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture, in 1949. At the age of 7, received a camera from parents and began taking photographs. Self-taught in photography for the most part. After studying fashion design, worked as an editor for a photography magazine and as an assistant to photographers before becoming a freelance photographer. Debuted in 1970 with the photo exhibition "Another Something" at Ginza Nikon Salon. Stayed in Paris for 4 years from 1978. Since then, has mainly worked in Tokyo and Paris. Released portraits in collaboration with authors, film directors, actors, and artists. Stayed in Paris again for 8 years from 1991. Presented various works including portraits, fashion, architecture, sculpture, luxury hotels, French cuisine, landscapes, and travel photographs. In 2008, recognized for contributions to tourism in Paris and received the Press Merit Award from the Paris Tourist Office along with Mitsuyoshi Ogura.
