Full colour title page drawn by Ezquerra for an episode of Island of the Damned, featuring Durham Red the 'Strontium Bitch', a mutant vampire. Published in 2000ad prog (issue) 767 on 25th January 1992 This is a full colour title page still complete with the acetate overlay and also publisher’s notes attached on tracing paper. The page has been painted full bleed by Ezquerra for maximum impact and with a fantastic colour palette. Durham Red has been chained to the spot on the Island of the damned and is at the mercy of the lunatics… or so they thought. The page features the official square 2000ad rubber stamp on the reverse, which details the prog (issue number) and date published. Carlos Ezquerra co-created Judge Dredd and is a legend in the comic art world. Please view all the photographs for condition report. As you can see it is in excellent condition.
