Two Balancing Deer surrounded by Peonies in Landscape - Six Geese in the Border! - Πιάτο - Πορσελάνη
A nice and rare antique Chinese porcelain Wanli charger, with a central decoration of two deer balancing in a landscape surrounded by peonies and forestation, executed in an excellent underglaze blue and white . In the border a VERY RARE decoration SIX GEESE and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Ming dynasty, Wanli period (ca. 1580). On the backside a decoration of WATERPLANTS, with a typical Wanli foot rim. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Diameter: 21,8 centimeter
Condition: The object is in overall fair condition, small glazing imperfectionsand a hairline and a small restored section on the rim. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
