In 2010 I've took over at Comicon in New York part of the warehouse of two South American comic editors that went bankrupt in 1983 and 1995. They were the sole distributor of European and American comics (Marvel and DC) in South America. These are original acetate, production art used in the printing process of comics. Since original art could not be sent for production abroad, acetate were used instead to create the metal plates and then the majority, especially internal pages, destroyed due to high storage costs. Very nice condition, some signs of Silver Nitrate (also called Lunar Caustic - a substance used in the printing of acetates) due to the many years passed since production does not diminish the beauty of the acetate. !!
