The carpet has been brought back to life by letting her original garden panel pattern and her colors fade. In Iran they named this design Afshan. All the work is done by hand. Natural materials and rich colors The wool of the rug is worn beautifully by its age or shaved by hand until its cotton base. The carpet has taken multiple baths, which recolour the rug. Drying in the sun a thousand shades of beige and taupe arise. This complexity of colour combines a lot better with the rest of the interior. Of course the carpet will be washed multiple times and finished manually.
