Born in Kyoto. His real name is Kozaburo. He studied under Shunkyo Yamamoto. He is active as a core member of the Sanae-kai, which is presided over by Shunkyo. In 1912, he was selected for the 8th Bunten for the first time as a woodcutter. He formed the Japan Jiyu-gadan with Kason Iguchi, Keisen Ikeda, and others.
The tip of the hanging scroll is made of pottery.
There are some stains all over.
