Adrian Siekiera Polish Meteoritical Society

I am a meteorite and geology enthusiast and collector, with a long-standing interest in searching for, identifying and documenting specimens of extraterrestrial origin. I am a member of the Polish Meteoritical Society, an organization bringing together people interested in meteorites, their research and field searches. I am particularly interested in meteorites found in Europe, the history of their discoveries, and the locations and documentation of their find sites. I continue to develop my knowledge through my own field searches and expeditions, as well as by studying geological and historical maps, LiDAR data and scientific literature concerning meteorite finds. During my searches, I also use geophysical methods, including metal detectors and magnetometers, and I develop my own solutions for detecting magnetic anomalies associated with meteorites. The specimens I offer come from my own field searches, collector exchanges or trusted sources. I strive to provide accurate descriptions of each specimen and to present information about its origin, classification and history as clearly and transparently as possible. I see meteorites not only as collectible objects, but above all as fragments of the history of our Solar System. My passion is discovering their stories — from finding them in the field, through identification and documentation, to preserving them for future collectors.
