How to use Catawiki’s tax numbers for shipping

As a professional seller, including the correct tax number is essential to avoid customs issues, delays, or being charged VAT twice.

How to add it:

  • You can find the relevant number in your order details.
  • Ask your shipping company where to add it (e.g., customs forms or invoices). Note: it may be called a tax ID or VAT registration number.

EU orders up to €150 – Catawiki’s IOSS number

For orders going to the EU valued at €150 or less, you must include Catawiki’s IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) number.

Singapore orders up to S$400 – Catawiki’s Singapore GST number

For orders to Singapore valued at S$400 or less, include Catawiki’s GST number.

All France/Monaco orders –  IOSS number (up to €150) or Catawiki’s French VAT number (orders more than €150)

You need to provide these numbers to comply with import rules and customs regulations.

For final bids more than €150, use our French VAT number. Place it in Box 44 - Additional information. If the final bid is ≤ €150, use the IOSS number. Ask your shipping company where to place it.

All Swiss orders – Catawiki's Swiss VAT number and importer references

When shipping to Switzerland, you need to include the correct importer reference information on the Customs form. This applies to all orders, regardless of the sales amount or whether you’re a professional seller.

By providing these numbers, your buyers can pay VAT at our checkout. Catawiki will then pay it to the relevant tax authorities.
