Shipping & Pick up
Are there object types with specific restrictions?

Yes – some categories have additional customs requirements or restrictions for international shipping. These include (but are not limited to):

  • Alcohol (including wine and spirits).
  • Ivory or materials from protected species (subject to CITES).
  • Coins, stamps, and banknotes.
  • Weapons or militaria (e.g. antique firearms).
  • Cars, motorbikes, and other vehicles.
  • Fossils and minerals.
  • Jewelry and watches (may be subject to import limits or extra screening).

Always check:

  • Your country’s export rules.
  • The buyer’s country’s import restrictions.
  • Your shipping company’s terms and conditions – even if an object is legal to export/import, your shipping company may prohibit or restrict it, require specific packaging, limit insured values, or apply size/weight caps. Check your shipping company’s terms and conditions before shipping to avoid refusals, surcharges, or returns.
