When do I need to switch to manual shipping?

If you have selected Smart Shipping during the submission process, but that you encounter the following scenarios - you will have contact our Customer Service so that they can switch you to Manual Shipping.

  • The object is large or bulky and exceeds smart shipping size or weight limits.
  • The buyer’s address changed after checkout (original label invalid).
  • The buyer is located in the Canary Islands or another area outside of the EU Customs territory. 
  • The object is a restricted good (flammables, prohibited objects, etc.) or not compliant with the Smart Shipping company’s terms and conditions.
  • A shipment was returned to you and needs to be sent again (always handled manually).
  • For some reasons, you want to use your own shipping company contract instead of smart shipping. We invite you to ensure these instances are exceptions
