Diamonds submission guidelines

We carefully select diamonds to maintain high-quality and authenticity standards. We only accept natural, certified diamonds. Our experts review every submission to make sure bidders find rare and valuable objects.

Follow these guidelines to maximise your chances of a successful sale.

  • Be certified by an approved gemological laboratory

  • Minimum carat weight for single white diamonds 0.20 ct and for Natural Fancy Coloured Diamonds 0.30 ct
  • Comply with the Kimberley Process

Getting your submission ready

1. Fill in all the details and write a clear description

When you submit an object, you’ll see fields to guide you in providing the right information, e.g. carat, cut, colour, clarity, lab, etc. These fields ensure your listing is clear, searchable, and easy for bidders to understand.

Please also use the object description field to share:

  • Unique features or notable history
  • Certificate date and number
  • Cut gradefluorescencedimensions
  • (When clarity not mentioned on the report) opinion on the clarity clearly mentioned as ‘Seller opinion’
  • Where the object came from/how it was obtained
  • If the object has any flaws
  • VAT/import tax details
  • Shipping method, any restrictions

Tip: The more detail you provide, the easier it is for bidders to understand the value of your object – and the more likely it is to sell. Find here more tips on how to write a clear, accurate description.

2. Great photos matter

Photos are the first thing bidders see – so make them count! We recommend including at least 5 high-quality images that clearly show the condition and details of your object. This helps bidders make informed decisions and increases your chances of a successful sale.

Your photos should include:

For all submissions:

  • Full front, back, and side views of the diamond
  • Close-ups of any inclusions or features
  • A clear image of the original paper certificate

Additional images by object type:

  • Pairs  and Parcels: group shot and individual diamonds
  • Sealed diamonds: blister front and back

Tip: Use a neutral background (white or black), avoid low-quality or stock images, and aim for natural lighting. Find here more tips on how to take professional photos.
