Jacques van Mourik; Painter Jacques van Mourik established himself as the first painter in Plasmolen in the Limburg province. He attracted the interest of academy friends and a host of other artists, also from other disciplines, for the pristine environment that captivated him his whole life. The Foundation Jacques van Mourik has collected works from the Plasmolen artist colony since 1992, and publishes small monographs.
