Vicente Tatay has made guitars in his workshop in Valencia since 1889, and since then he has grown to be the most well-known and largest guitar manufacturer in Spain and far beyond. Vicente retired in 1942 and the firm was taken over by his sons José and Vicente Tatay Tomas.
