Up for auction is a rarity from my vintage watch collection, a Cupillard calibre #233 movement (Google 'Cupillard 233 ranfft' for more information) cased by Mornier of Bordeaux. These watches were, I understand, made to order. This one has just been serviced with a new glass fitted (cost 60€) and is keeping time. The attractive and unmolested dial (measures 30.02mms without crown) is in well above average condition considering the watch's 75+ years of age. The French leather military WW2 strap is also from my collection and from the same period as the Mornier. It has been redressed and will fit a wrist to 19.30cms.
