Hendrik Jan Verhaaf (signs with H Verhaaf), is a Dutch landscape painter, of whom little is known. He was born around 1890 and he died in the 1970s in Arnhem, at the age of 81. His paintings show up in various auction houses in Europe. This is a landscape painting with sheep in the foreground. The painting would benefit from a restoration; it has hung in an environment where there was smoking, and the canvas and frame have some minor damage. After a cleaning, the painting will show much more than it does now. The painting will be very carefully packed and can be shipped worldwide (registered).
