BMW - Cafe Racer - 800cc - 1985

Cafe racer made with great eye for detail. Engine overhauled. Gearbox overhauled, new clutch, all new gaskets. Stainless steel brake line Dragbar steering New handles Ace Dash 2 in 1 exhaust with db killer. Custom-made sub-frame (powder-coated). Rims powder-coated. Mini indicators Headlight with built-in ignition lock Tank sprayed in Porsche Slade Grey and Racing Orange. Tyres: good Cardan shaft lubricated and new gaskets. Head bearing replaced. New mini gel battery built into air filter. Open air filters I bought this bike three years ago as a “green monster”. I have transformed it in stages into a cafe racer. It was a conscious decision to give the block and other components a rough look. Other parts were sprayed with a lot of attention and powder-coated. Partly because of the new bearings and new stainless steel brake line, it drives wonderful and is suitable for larger individuals. It currently has a 1db killer built-in giving the engine a nice rough sound, A second db killer is included and can be easily fitted. Original Dutch registration: MG-52-NH BMW R 80 RT Date of first admission 31-05-1985. This motorcycle can be viewed and picked up in Maastricht, The Netherlands Buyers outside The Netherlands please note: The motorcycle has a Dutch registration, it is not known whether the motorcycle can be registered outside of the Netherlands. Please ensure you are informed regarding the regulations in your country and whether or not this vehicle is deemed to be roadworthy. Bidding on this lot is your responsibility.
