Olympus Tokyo, a stable, easy-to-use microscope (N0. 231605). The E-series was produced from 1959 until 1974. Usually, these microscopes were used for standard laboratory work and by students (scientific) medicine/biology. Neatly used. Some wear to the paint, especially at the table. Excellent optical performance by clean, clear quality optics. A binocular tube, with the original Olympus set of eyepieces 7X (one with dioptric and adjustment possibility for eye relief) and a revolver with the original four Olympus Achromatic lenses: 4X0.10, 10X0.25, 40X0.65 and 100X1.30 (oil) Magnifications from 28X up to 1000X There is a cross-table, which moves the preparations very precisely in two directions along the X and Y axes (both with Vernier scale) The table can also be adjusted in height manually and is lockable. Coarse/fine focusing with slip. Everything runs smoothly without slack. The lighting is provided by the exclusive illuminator Olympus model LSE, with many setting possibilities. In addition to the standard lamp, there are also two matching led lights (hot and cold light). A no name stabilized power supply makes it complete. The light is controlled by a height adjustable Abbe condenser 1.25 with diaphragm and filter holder. There is a copy of an English-language manual and a dust cover. (No box) A robust, stable microscope, weight 6.25 kg (with light 7.1 kg), dimensions are height 33 cm, width 22 cm and depth 23 cm. The micro pictures made with this microscope were taken with the led light and a USB eyepiece (not included). Always shipped with track & trace!
