This work is mounted on a new framework which can be tightened. A barely noticeable sign of something that was leaned up against the canvas (in the sky), so please have a look (just above the far right female figure.) The image itself measures 50 x 60 cm and is striking because of the beautiful use of colour, making it a powerful work. Palette knife technique on canvas. Dino Francesco Fantini was born in May 1913 in Cagliari, a city where he lived and worked. Fantini started his artistic studies under the guidance of sculptor Francesco Ciusa, who shaped and guided Fantini, the so labelled ‘beginner’. At the age of 18, he won the 1st prize in Rome at the National exhibition for young talents. He reached artistic maturity at the Academy in Rome From 1937 until his death he exhibited in various major cities of Italy, Sardinia and overseas with various solo and collective exhibitions with paintings and engravings. His works and portraits are a part of many public collections, even abroad. In addition, Fantini made various bronze monuments for the cemeteries of Rome, Cagliari and other places. Among his public works we mention: decoration on auditorium panels of the medical clinic of the University of Cagliari. Dino Fantini died in 1981. Dino Francesco Fantini was born in May 1913 in Cagliari,
a city where he lived and worked. Fantini started
his artistic studies under the guidance of sculptor
