No. 15594823
Neapolitan mandolin by F.lli Vinaccia
Neapolitan mandolin by F.lli Vinaccia from 1890.
The instrument is in perfect state of preservation.
Perfect in every detail, the mandolin has always belonged to my family, it was given to my grandfather who had completed the studies of guitar, mandola and mandolin.
Note the internal label that shows how it was manufactured by the forefather of Vinaccia family, in fact, the brothers Gennaro and Achille Vinaccia are part of the famous family of craftsmen who has always had ' workshop ' in Naples in Rua Catalana 53, to whose founder is attributed the origin of the Neapolitan mandolin, in the middle of the 17th century.
Unfortunately on the market there are many mandolins passed off as “Vinaccia” which are actually fake or made with Vinaccia nominee who have nothing to do with the production of musical instruments.
Fortunately the label of origin of this mandolin is perfectly intact and readable and has the original signatures, in addition to the actual logos and emblems of which the house was the official supplier.
The instrument has been assessed by both the Cecchini music house in Florence (among the most important in the knowledge of the history of ancient musical instruments) and that by two known luthiers: all of them have guaranteed its authenticity.
The instrument is available for sworn surveys before the purchase, whose costs are obviously borne by the proposed buyer.
