**********IMPORTANT INFORMATION**** this is a Vtg CHANEL Chain Belt GOLD Plated the huge CCs of the buckle has the symbol III of the gold plating ( see pic n. 3) This is a piece of collection and also a piece of love 'cause , as a vintage object, brings with it a story ... a LOVE story! This chain was gift to my aunt from my uncle, who bought for her it in the famous CHANEL Boutique in RUE de CAMBON 31, during their honeymoon in April 1958. Gabrielle Chanel had only reappeared in the fashion scene ( after the previous closure of her Maison due to the Second World War) from just four years, recently proposing her famous tweed tailleur that combined belts like this (as you can see from the pics n. 5 ) In this period it's still the great COCO Gabrielle Chanel drawing her creations ... Karl Lagerfeld will appear only after her death in 1971 **The signature stamp "Chanel Paris" is on the front of each link, as well as for the buckle that is one with the first link in the chain (look at the pics n. 3, 4, 6, etc. The rings that make up the chain are alternately closed and open and ALL with the logo "Chanel" and "Paris" alternately carved in the upper or lower part, as you can see from the images n. 3, 7, 8, 10, ecc You can wear it on the waist or hips 'cause you can clip the buckle where you want Original CHANEL box, inside covered in satin with some sign of the time passaged Total length: 97 cm ( 38 in.)
