The bust is 17 cm high and is lined with nice coloured fabrics. The bust is slightly damaged, loose on the turban. History art by Marijke Kok: Marijke Kok started as a jewellery designer in Rome in the 1960s and switched to designing clothes in the 1970s. She became famous with her boutique and art gallery in Arnhem and has had shows in the town museum and theatre on the Rhine in Arnhem. At the time, she started to make porcelain fantasy dolls with very striking special clothing and headdresses. These dolls have been permanently exhibited in the Parisian gallery New Form in rue st. Deni for 4 years.
