Rare AEG fan from 1908, Type OVE 3. The designer Peter Behrens. The fan is still in authentic unrestored original condition. The stand is of cast iron and the blades are made of copper. The fan has a slide on the stand for the 4 modes, this slide works well, just like the wing nuts to change the modes. There’s a handle on top of the stand and a brass button that can be pressed or pulled out to keep it in the selected mode. The original AEG label is in the middle of the fan. The original label of the manufacturer is on the base. This includes: AEG, E PI no.11308 Type OVE3 125 V No. S 436 The fan still works fine, has 3 different speeds and can, if desired, also move from left to right. A fan with a very industrial look!!
