Beautiful antique silver-plated fish cutlery for 12 people / 24-piece, consisting of 12 x fish knives and 12 x forks, all with simulated ivory handles and a silver neck.
The silver has the hallmarks:
- Maker’s mark W.Y. = William Yates Ltd.
- left walking lion for English silver
- City stamp for Sheffield
- 22 pieces have the year letter n for 1905 and 2 x year letter m for 1904.
The blades are marked EPNS H.W. Ltd.
The cutlery comes in the original case (24 cm. x 19 cm.).
Length knife 21 cm.
Length fork 18 cm.
Dimensions case 28 cm x 23.5 cm.
Virtually all bone handles have a hair crack from the neck, but sturdy and there are no pieces off. ... otherwise the cutlery is in a very good condition.
The case has signs of use, but will do just fine.
Total weight 1566 grams.
