Bulova - Accutron 214 - bow tie lugs - "NO RESERVE PRICE" - Men - 1960-1969

Up for auction is a rare Vintage 1966 M6 Bulova Accutron 214 “Bow Tie” lugs backset watch. The dial is beige structured sunburst effect one with raised stainless stell hour marks and logo with strings between short hour marks – very good condition (first tiny discoloration may be visible). The stainless steel hour and minute hands have beige luminous marks in the middle (faint, fit to age). The sweeping second hand is stainless steel. All hands are in mint condition. The stainless steel case measures 35mm in diameter, 40mm from lug to lug and is 13mm thick. Case in great condition, very sharp and never polished. The back of the casing is signed as follows: “BULOVA WATERPROOF PATENTED STAINLESS STEEL M6 1-456155” NO personalized inscription on backcase. The acrylic crystal is very clear with tiny, barely visible marks. Great condition. The watch has stainless steel stretched Speidel bracelet. I didin’t change the bracelet because it fits watch well and has very nice vintage style. It will stretch to almost any wrist size. Can always be changed to band of buyers choice. The 214 M6 tuning fork movement is in perfect working condition and is keeping good time. It has been phased to work accurately on 1.55V battery without any electronics change (so it is all original). New silver oxide battery has been installed. No box nor documents. All custom payments are on the side of buyer. This watch is a great candidate for a daily user or a dress watch. It presents great on wrist and looks great considering its age (over 50 years). Great condition, never polished. There are fewer and fewer nice 214 accutrons out there and all the time gaining value. Don’t miss this one – You will be very satisfied! The watch will be securely packed and send with priority and signature confirmation. Happy auction to all.
