Laco - Electric - Men - 1960-1969
Very well preserved gold-plated Laco Electric with date display from 1963.
Already in the mid to late 1960s, no watches of this kind are produced any more (replacement by quartz watches). The electromechanical movement (a balance wheel is driven electrically) functions by means of a button cell battery (see the battery compartment).
The electromechanical movement is introduced by Laco in Spring 1958 at the Hanover Trade Fair. The watch runs after pushing in the back cog.
The watch with date display has the calibre 880, 7 stones, 21,600 A/h
The casing only has minimal or no signs of use. The gold plating is intact. The dial is very well preserved, free of patina, at 4 and 5 o'clock there are 3 fine scratches on the dial.
The date operates flawlessly.
The leather strap is new with 19.5 cm total length. The watch has a new V357 button battery.
Steel base: original Laco, very well preserved, minor traces of wear.
Diameter: 35 mm
Height (with watch crystal and battery compartment): 12 mm
Material: gold-plated steel
All features of the timepiece are in flawless condition.
A rare watch, bridging technology.
Please note that the watch must be shaken briefly after changing the battery, so that the balance wheel starts to move.
Insured shipment.
