This motorcycle was built in the Second World War for the Swedish Army.
Only 3000 were made.
Special is also that the motorcycle has rear suspension, very uncommon for those years.
The motorcycle runs and drives well.
Modern Swedish papers.
Pick up and viewing in Nijkerkerveen.
During the Second World War, it quickly became clear that the Swedish army had no motorbike for ordinances.
The situation was acute and the armed forces placed an order with Husqvarna.
However, they were busy with other orders and could not accept it.
The order was shared and Monark made the frame on a Husqvarna 112 TV base and Albin made the engine and gearbox.
Produced in two versions, one with side flaps (300 copies in 1942), and this version with overhead valves (OHV) in 3,000 copies in 1943.
This fast and heavy motorcycle became the first standard motorcycle of the Swedish army. And was then used until the 1960s.
Many Monarch-Albins were rebuilt in the 1950s and used to race with.
