The Établissements Pétolat Frères et Anguenot was created in 1881 in Villers-le-Lac, founded by Ulysse Anguenot. Later on in 1953 the Anguenot brothers, watchmakers from generation to generation, created the Herma watch company. Synonymous with innovation and technological revolution, Herma watches are well-known to specialists who love timepieces that stand the test of time. This 1940s model by this famous brand bears witness to the Art Deco period. Gold-plated casing, 21 mm x 38 mm not including the crown, dimensions from the era and numbered steel back. Original dial with a railroad, fine blued hands, small seconds hand at 6 o'clock and Herma inscription. Curved glass without any marks. Strap measuring 17 cm (excluding pin buckle). Hand-wind mechanical movement, ETA calibre, in good working condition. A true collector's item. Careful registered shipping with signature required. Happy bidding.
