Mahogany Biedermeier dining table with chairs, from around 1840. The table is in excellent condition with very light user traces. The chairs are, but one, in good condition. The 4th chair has a backrest restoration. The Biedermeier period is a period in German/Austrian (art) history that roughly ran from 1815 to the Revolution year 1848. Like in other European countries this was a reaction to the ornate Empire style and its military ornaments inspired on the Romans (18th century). The photos are part of the description.
