Germany - Army/Infantry - M35 DOUBLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M35) - 1935

Original German Third Reich M35 double decal made of sheet steel construction retains most of its original apple green smooth paint. The left side of the helmet has a Wehrmacht eagle sticker with black lines which is preserved at around 80%. The right side of the helmet has a national tricolor decal that is retained around 40%. The three liner retaining rivets and both of the inserted vent bushings are intact. The interior of the helmet has a very good M31 complete leather lining. The inner and reverse collar protection apron has a stamped "418" serial number and the manufacturer's code and size, "Q66," which indicates the manufacture of F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H. Esslingen, size 66. Complete with original strap. A magnificent example of a german helmet, model M35, from the Second World War. Initial model distinguishable for its double decal, used until 1940. It has riveted ventilation holes and the squared chinstrap rings. With markings in the interior and the external part of the helmet. Linear size 58. Incredible piece, 100% genuine. Send by UPS
