Student of Georges Gardet, he exhibited at the Salon of French artists, at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon of Decorative Arts in 1904 and 1907. Gold medal at the Salon of French artists in 1922 for a sculpture of a she-wolf called "L’alerte", in 1927, gold medal at the Salon of Decorative Arts; in 1931, he participated to the colonial exhibition. He is considered as a major artist from the beginning of the 20th century in his speciality: the animal sculpture. He worked with materials such as bronze, but also plaster, sandstone and terracotta. Thomas Cartier is a French sculptor, born in Marseille on 21 February 1879, who died in 1943.
Student of Georges Gardet, he exhibited at the Salon of French artists, at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon of Decorative Arts in 1904 and 1907.
