Gorgeous and particularly rare tank watch by Omega from 1939. The steel 35 x 20 case is in exceptional condition. The oblong appearance gives the watch a very elegant look, and due to the light curvature it fits the wrist perfectly. The two-tone dial is impeccable and has accumulated an extraordinarily beautiful patina over the years. With the incidence of light it almost seems like there is a layer of oil on the dial. The gilded arabic numerals are also still in perfect condition. There is a decentralised second hand at 6 o'clock and a beautiful radium-filled set of blue steel hands, which are not common for this edition. Underneath the caseback is the famous Omega T17 movement, which is in very neat condition. It has been fully serviced and can be worn for years without worry.
