Yamaha introduced the XT500 more than 40 years ago, in 1976. The Enduro is very much loved to this day, one of the most legendary off-road motorcycles ever produced. Studio AREAGE designed an ode to this classic after the contemporary trend of the factory scrambler. The Yamaha MT660 is a one-off concept, custom-designed and built based on a 2008 Yamaha MT-03. These first models of the MT-03 came with the same 660cc one-cylinder as the XT series from that year. That’s why the MT-03 stands out as a naked bike within the XT family, it’s therefore the perfect base for creating a factory scrambler. The cycling part and frame remains unchanged.
