The Universal Geneve Tricompax is the jewel in the crown of vintage watches from the 1940s. Three-part case with pressure fit case back, curved, lugs, rectangular chronograph buttons, three adjustment buttons on the left side for the date, moon phases, and month display. Silvered dial with applied golden arrow hour-markers, peripheral blue tachymeter scale, four auxiliary sub-dials at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock respectively with 30-minute sub-dial and 12-hour sub-dial, continuous seconds and moon phases with day of the month, featuring burnished blue hands; two display windows at 10 and 8 o'clock respectively for the day of the week and the month, applied golden hands, central burnished blue chronograph seconds hand. Universal Genève movement calibre 481, anchor escapement, single metal balance wheel with Breguet hairspring. Diameter: 35 mm (37.5 including crown) - Probable year of manufacture: 1949 Fine quality leather strap with spring bars, branded movement, dial and case. The timepiece was serviced in 2017 and has not been worn since. It works perfectly in all its functions. There are some slight signs of ageing only on its original dial, and it is still free of any trace of scratches and wear, as shown in the attached photos. Insured shipping via DHL.
