Elegant bust of a young lady, lined with bronze and on a marble base. Made and signed by Georges Morin (1874-1950). In the 1890s, Morin studied at the Berlin Academy with Ernst Herter and Peter Breuer among others. During a study trip to Paris he developed his passion for Oriental dancers of the 'Commedia dell'arte'. He was a member of the association of visual artists in Berlin. He presented his work at numerous exhibitions in Berlin, and his works are located in various public places in the city, including the bronze fountain of a 'fish rider' in Berlin-Wilmersdorf (Ref.
