Bronze sculpture with green marble base, signed ‘Hunt’. In the 50s / 60s, following the discovery of some statues and frescoes depicting the 'dancing satyr', or 'drunken satyr' between the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, some casts were made and used by various artists and foundries to create this artwork. The sculpture is beautiful and in good condition, as visible in the photos; it shows some small dents on the nose and a small scratch under the left eye, but no serious damage. Sculpture weight approx. 12/15 kg; the shipping costs will be a little higher, as the work is very heavy and requires a lot of packaging material. Made with lost wax casting technique.
