jeka - Lamp - volga

Beautiful older lamp from jeka. the model is called Volga. the lamp usually has wear and patina. the lamp has some scratches on the screen. Diameter : 40 centimeter, High 20 centimeter. Facts of Jeka lamp: JEKA, or Jeka Metaltryk (Metal Press), was founded in 1990 by Kurt Wiborg, and closed in 2002 – unfortunately this is the only information linked to the JEKA name. Other sources state the company in the 1960-1980. We know that they produced pendants inspired by the Danish tradition for elegant, multi layered hanging lights – instigated by Poul Henningsen in 1925. Almost all Danish lighting manufacturers have their own interpretations of this tradition. The lamps produced by JEKA were made in metal and thus much heavier and sturdier than similar products from the competition. Many of them have survived the test of time and still look just amazing today, as the day they left the factory.
