Japanese photo album with a black varnished wooden band and a leather spine.
The front is beautifully decorated with a natural image of plants and animals. the decorated was made in bone and mother of pearl, in high relief. The back is varnished in an even black.
The inside is made of sturdy cardboard and finished with silk. It contains 6 sheets, 14 pages with
passe-partouts. The inside of the cover is also finished with silk and the whole inside was painted.
Measurements: 36 x 27 x approx. 5 cm Weight 1.6 kg The album shows some minor signs of wear, a few pieces of the overlaid bone are missing. Considering its age, the album is in reasonable condition.
