Klabats (Karwats); It's a type of whip. Strips of leather are braided on a stick. This was used to rouse migratory animals. It can also be used as a weapon. Since the leather is very soft, it could be that it was replaced in the past, but there is 1 on display in the museum in Veenhuizen with the same material.
It was also used as a torture tool (beating someone).
