Pays d'Auge is a limited production area in the Calvados district. The brandies produced in this part of Normandy are the only entitled to "appellation calvados pays d'Auge contrôlée" label. Both of theese bottles are "Pays d'Auge" Boulard brand was founded in 1825 by Pierre Boulard, and their calvados is produced from the finest and best ciders. After distillation in special stills called "bouillottes à repasse" the brandy is aged in oak barrels in cellars located in Coquainvillers.
