A storage box for katana swords, inside there is storage for a katana and a Wakasachi sword. Inside the box there are wooden cuts thats fits a katana and wakasashi. Therefore possibly used for a Daisho set. A Daisho is a set of one long and one short sword (Katana& Wakizashi), worn by Samurai warriors during the Edo period.
Some traces of usage, but given the age in nice original condition.
