A silver antique (Russia 1894 year) Besamim box designed to contain the aromatic herbs used at the Jewish Havdalah ceremony. This ceremony marks the end of the Shabbat. In this ceremony, the herbs are passed on during the service to comfort and calm the congregation, and prepare them for the next working week. Height of closed Besamim 8,5 cm, height of open Besamim 10,5 cm, lenght 5 cm, width 5 cm, weight 50 grams. Large antique silver Jewish herbs box (Besamim, Besomim) with three standing figures supported at the base by the great star of David.
