Fine Enicar Sherpa 600 Date. A highly sought-after watch from the 1960s. The steel case is approx. 34 mm, measured without the crown. The dial is fine and has a "sunburst" effect. Overlaid silver markers and hands. The minute hand has been replaced in the past and has a different colour of lumen . A nice detail. The - red - date is at the "3 o'clock" position. This can be adjusted by the hands. The case back is still fairly sharp and is marked with the Enicar Sea Pearl logo and a lot of text....i.a... "brevet, 140/013, ultrasonic, etc." The timepiece is a hand-wound calibre AR1141 by Enicar. It is looking good and keeps time fine. The servicing history is unknown, however. Overall it is a neat, vintage Enicar with some minor signs of wear - scratches, etc., on the case back... and a neat, new leather 18 mm strap. Suitable for a wrist of up to at least 21 cm.
