Omega Constellation Chronometer men's wristwatch in gold plated/stainless steel case from circa 1975. The watch has a gold-coloured dial with date display at the 3 o'clock position. The tuning fork movement runs very precisely and can be stopped by pulling out the wind up crown. The gold from the case has worn down in some spots (see photos), the underlying steel is especially visible on one of the strap attachments. The original dial is in perfect condition. The back side has the Constellation logo in the shape of a dome with an observatory and constellations above it. Hence the name Constellation. The chronometers were tested at an observatory before they could receive a chronometer certificate. It has a beautiful new brown leather strap of 24 cm long. The diameter of the case is 35 mm.
