The first edition (Red edition!) is much more rare than the later, more well-known brown colored editions. The early edition contains photos a bit different from the later publications. You received one picture card with each packet of cigarettes, and the purpose was to collect the complete album like this. This used to be a well-known phenomena and people were eagerly collecting cards to make the albums complete. This is one of the better albums with particularly fine pictures with many special images of the early Kampfzeit.
