This motor comes from the collection of 82 year old former motorcycle racer Frans Vos from Rotterdam. This motorcycle racer was active from 1954 in national and international road races on street circuits like Zandvoort and Assen. Vos was also active in the Cross and Sidecar Race. From 1980 to 1998 driver Vos was successful during the Veteran Races at Classic Racing Clubs, like the Historische Motorsport Vereniging (HMV) and Classic Racing Team (CRT) in amongst others the 50cc class. The original frame has been replaced over the years by a frame from 1964. The engine block is the same block as during the races on Circuit Zandvoort (see photos). Specially cast cylinder head by Sir de Duiker, Rotterdam. Measured top speed: 105 km/hour with the extra cylinder. (see photo) Block is good. New piston, lagers. 2 speed. Wheels and front fork new. Tyres new. Stiff frame rear. Battery coil ignition. No battery. No registration number. This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Culemborg, The Netherlands.
