Up for auction is a rare heavy quality Swiss model DF1910 binocular, made in approximately 1911, of which only two others are known. This is one of the first of the ''modern'' type Swiss Army Binoculars, see below for a detailed description of this model. The binoculars are in good condition, there is still view (slightly foggy but nothing serious given the age) and the strap is included as well (but worn because of age, see attached photo's. History of the Swiss model DF 1910 binoculars This set of binoculars, the model DF 1910, is a type of the DF 6x24 that was exported into Switzerland as a military issue. This is a rare set of binoculars, because there is only one other documented example (see the internet).
