Fortunately, this valuable drop was rediscovered in time in the years after the turn of the millennium and was given a few more years in specially acquired Maker's Mark barrels. To express the appreciation for this critically endangered liquid, 100 individually made glass bottles were commissioned from the legendary Japanese glassblower Komure Takahito. This delicacy was eventually bottled in 2015, just in time for Yamazakura's 250th anniversary.
