Vases (2) - Enamel, Silver - Flowers - Japan - 19th - 20th century
A pair of high quality Japanese cloisonné vases, probably silver. (the metal has not been tested, but its color appears to be silver). They are almost square in shape and measure 18 by 8 centimeters.
The surface is decorated with shiny enamels depicting roses, leaves again on a black background with goldstone. Roses are very rare in the decoration of Japanese cloisonne.
In very good good condition for their age.
