A lovely antique Chinese high quality marble statue depicting a Fierce Foo Lion standing on a square lotus throne with under one paw a young cub. On his neck and back many ribbons and adornments, nicely detailed nostrils, mouth and eyes. Handcrafted in ancient China, during Qing dynasty (19th century /20th century ). On the bottom a solid base.
Height: 38,2 centimeter
Weight: ca. 35,00 KGS (!!)
Condition: The object is in good condition, some normal wear and tear over the centuries (see pictures). No restorations! The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
