Italy, Regia Marina, World War I, F-7 submarine medal and two photographs of ammunition from the warship Neptune. 1) 1918, F-7 Submarine medal. “Sommergibile F 7 1918. Venne il di Nostro e Vincere Bisogna” (Submarine F7 1918. Our time has come and we must win). Measures without ring, 2.64 cm. diameter. Thickness, 0.24 cm. It weighs 8 grams. Good condition with signs and patina from the passage of time. F class submarines manufactured in Italy from 1916. Designed by the major of the Regio Arsenale of Venice, naval engineer and technical director of the Cantiere navale del Muggiano shipyard, Cesare Laurenti. Offensive coastal submarine, they carried out numerous missions on enemy coasts and in the most important traffic nodes, none of them were sunk. 2) Two very rare photos of the large caliber ammunition elevator of the Neptune warship (Nave Nettuno elevatore da 120/45 Serie XXXI N 1844). In one you can see the pod and in the other the howitzer. They measure 21.2 x 12.3 cm. They bear the seal of the Italian navy on the back: “Centro Fotografico NAVALE, numbers, 05297 and 05294. L'ITALIA. ELEBADOR old photographs of munizioni.
